We divide your wall width by 48 inches — the coverage of one panel unit — and round up. For example, an 11 ft 6 in (138") wall needs 3 units. Openings for the TV or a fireplace are not subtracted.

Yes. You can add one extra unit for cuts and waste. The builder never goes below the recommended quantity for your wall.

No. Choose No Base to finish the wall with panels only, or pick one floating, furniture or fireplace base. Each wall gets at most one base.

Yes — choose a fireplace base (the Breckenridge or Avalon fireplace console). A fireplace base takes the place of a standard console. Standalone fireplace inserts are not part of the builder.

Professional installation is available only in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Fremont and Pleasanton. Everywhere else, your components ship nationwide for DIY installation.

Yes. Go back to any step at any time. If an earlier change means a later choice no longer fits, only that choice is cleared and we explain why. Your build is kept if you refresh the page during this visit.
